Nurse Visits

Senior Helpers have RN’s on staff for clients who need a medical professional involved in their care. Upon the first visit, a Senior Helpers RN will conduct a nursing assessment and come up with a care plan designed to fit the needs of the client. Throughout the course of care, the RN assigned by Senior Helpers will monitor the client and caregiver to ensure all needs are being met. If the Senior Helpers RN finds that the client’s needs have changed or if there is anything that may be a cause for concern, the Senior Helpers RN will inform the family and go over additional care options available.

Peace of Mind Visits

There are some instances when a senior will not need continuous care from a caregiver, but they may need someone to stop out just to check in on them on a daily basis. Senior Helpers’ Peace of Mind service that provides a daily 1-hour visit for clients and families who request it. These visits that Senior Helpers offers are available 5 to 7 days per week and are intended to provide home care assistance with the following:

• Meal Preparation
• Conversation
• Medication Reminders
• Hygiene Assistance

Sitter Services

Senior Helpers can be there to monitor a loved one while they are in a hospital or any other facility while their primary caregiver can get much needed rest or attend to other important responsibilities. When the senior is discharged from the facility, Senior Helpers can help make the transition back home easier on everyone involved.

Veterans Services

Senior Helpers is an advocate for seniors who have provided military service. The company will do all that they can to assist veterans who need help applying for benefits for home care through the VA.
